November 2011: Singing Hands wins GOLD Award – Nov, 2011
Such a great bit of new to report this month – our second DVD ‘It’s Signing Time 2’ has been awarded a prestigious Gold Practical Pre-School Award 2011 in the Music and Multimedia category. We scored a whopping 97.8%.
Testers said: “A fantastic resource, which facilitates development across all areas of the EYFS and sustained the children’s interest and enthusiasm. The children loved this DVD and needed no encouragement to join in! They were very quickly singing along, copying the actions and signing. We had a child with EAL in the class and she loved joining in with the singing, asking for the DVD to be played each day”
Thank you to all our lovely families who helped make this DVD – be it in the scorching heat in Kew trying to be a scarecrow, driving round the streets of Twickers on the big red bus or elsewhere – it was all worth it :)
