TWO new Singing Hands DVDs..... coming very soon! It’s Signing Time 2 and ‘It’s a Christmas Cracker’ – Sep, 2010
Well it’s been a hectic few months here at Singing Hands but we are delighted to announce that we are in the final stages of producing our TWO new DVDs ready for release in October 2010.
It’s Signing Time 2:
We have our second DVD of nursery rhymes and action songs called It’s Signing Time 2 which features another fantastic collection of songs that we’ve filmed in a number of locations including a vintage bus, a nursery and a school. We are joined in the DVD by our Singing Hands tutors and over 300 children! We have had so much feedback from families about how much they want another DVD so here it is!! We have songs for babies, toddlers and schoolchildren – we sing some warm up songs with our Poppy Puppet, the Pirate song, Miss Polly had a Dolly, Sing a Song of Sixpence, Three Little Speckled Frogs, The Owl and the Pussycat, Grand Old Duke of York, Wheels on the Bus, Sing a Rainbow, I Hear Thunder….and so much more!

It’s a Christmas Cracker
Equally as exciting is the launch of this collection of traditional Christmas carols and festive songs. It is the first and only Christmas DVD collection featuring Makaton signs and symbols. It’s been strange dressing up in funny Christmas outfits and singing in coats and scarves in the summer sunshine and we very nearly melted a few times! We are really pleased with this DVD and it is sure to become a ‘must have’ for Christmas 2010 (and beyond!!).
Christmas songs can appeal to all ages and abilities so we are delighted that this DVD includes young children and adults singing along with us too. We have carefully chosen some of our favourite Christmas carols such as Away in a Manger, Silent Night, Mary had a Baby and I Saw Three Ships as well as more up tempo festive songs such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, the Christmas Alphabet, Frosty the Snowman and many more! The songs have lots and lots of Christmas signs so that you can learn all these fantastic signs and you will have LOTS of fun signing along with us.
The Christmas DVD also features a glossary of some key Christmas signs and there will be a CD of all these songs available too. A festive bonanza! Have a look at some of the pics from our filming:
